Telecommunications Information Notice 22-04 Update: Complex Cable and Wire Consulting (Change in Billing Model/Rates)

The Office of Technology Services has modified the Complex Cable and Wire Consulting line of service. A consulting fee of $75 per hour will now be applied to all cable engineering work that OTS performs, including wiring assessments, cable plant designs, preparing quotes, procurement assistance, contractor management, and order oversight. The scope of work required for each wiring job varies. OTS will provide an estimate of Complex Cable and Wire Consulting hours upon initiation of a project, but the estimate is subject to change as conditions and/or scope change.
The catalog of services has been updated to reflect this change.
This fee will be invoiced through their OTS bill. If an agency does not have an OTS account, one will be created for them.
