Our recently refreshed IBM mainframe environment includes mainframes at both datacenters that replicate data and have the ability to fail over. Mainframe compute units are based on the amount of CPU time, specialty engines and memory allocated to a given LPAR. Use of mainframe DB2 is included in the mainframe line of service processing rate.
