Telecommunications Information Notice 26-01 Delays Processing Network and Telecommunications Service Orders

The Office of Technology Services is currently experiencing delays in processing network and telecommunications service orders through AT&T.

The vendor has acknowledged significant internal backlogs impacting several areas, including:

• New Installations: Delays in establishing new network and telecommunication services

• Service Modifications: Delays in updating existing services or features

• Disconnections: Extended processing intervals for service terminations

Billing Information for Pending Disconnects: Because of these processing delays, services slated for disconnection will remain active on the agency’s NCS bill until the vendor officially completes the disconnection process.

Retroactive Credits: Once the vendor has finalized the service disconnections, retroactive credits will be applied to the agency's account. These credits will cover the period from the date the disconnect was originally scheduled to be completed through the date the vendor processed the request.

OTS is monitoring the situation closely and appreciates your patience as we work with the vendor to resolve these pending orders.
