TELECOMMUNICATIONS INFORMATION NOTICE 22-05 UPDATE: RATE INCREASES FOR CENTREX SERVICE

In September, the Office of Technology Services informed customers of anticipated changes in rates for Centrex services. This confirms the new rates became effective October 1, 2022, and will be reflected on the November 2022 bill.
Rates were changed as follows:

| Dormitory Class | $18.50 | $21.50 |
| Basic Class | $21.50 | $24.50 |
| Proprietary Business Class | $22.00 | $25.00 |
| Digital Voice Class | $35.50 | $38.50 |
| ISDN Class | $55.00 | $58.00 |
| Key System Class | $22.50 | $25.50 |
| Service Access Line | $25.00 | $28.00 |
The new rates are reflected in the Catalog of Services.
Agencies are reminded alternative lines of service are available for dial tone. Agencies may submit the NS-16 Project Request Form to request an evaluation and recommendation for dial tone services. Agencies with access to the OTS Customer Self Service Ticketing Portal may submit the project request via the portal following the instructions in the Network Services Project Request End Users Guide. All others may submit the NS-16 Project Request Form directly to networkorders@la.gov.
