To support efficient cross-agency planning, amplify the impact of state investments, and identify opportunities for collaborative progress.

Principles

Promoting interagency coordination: the OSP is a hub for communication and constructive partnership between the agencies within Louisiana's state government.
Maximizing impact: the OSP works with the Budget Office to identify opportunities to align the state budget with the long-range planning goals and leverage funds to provide the greatest benefit possible
Informing decision-making: Timely, accurate, and well-managed data informs the state's planning initiatives and guides investments
Anticipating future needs: The OSP provides insights into trends and projected conditions around Louisiana that allow state government to plan for the future
